Do You Limit God?

One day, God gave me an idea to do something, but I quickly dismissed it, assuming I didn't have the time for the task. The Lord spoke to me and said, "How can I use you when you quickly dismiss what I want to do." God will ask you to forgive, give your time to help someone else, be good to those who haven't been good to you, learn something new, eat healthy, exercise, save money, become financially literate, etc. He doesn't want you to limit His working in your life.

When God asks you to do something, remember, He didn't ask you to do it alone. He knows your shortcomings but wants you to partner with Him to get the job done. You have Christ living in you! Galatians 2:20 AMPC I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

When Jesus walked the earth, He didn't restrict anything God wanted to do. Jesus gave up His life for you! This is the example you should follow. According to Psalm 32:8, The Lord will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; The Lord will counsel you with His eye upon you.

Prayer for the Journey

Lord, forgive me for every time I hindered your will from being done on earth. I am grateful for your son Jesus who gave His life so that I can live life more abundantly. No longer will I allow my limitations to restrict you. I choose to see myself in you! I say yes to the task that is before me. I declare that in you, I will obtain the victory!

In Jesus name, Amen!
