There is a great reward for those who find wisdom. Wisdom gives way for you to live in the blessings that Jesus died for you to obtain (Proverbs 3:13). Below are some of the blessings found in wisdom.
Long Life: Proverbs 3:16 ERV With her right hand, Wisdom offers long life—with the other hand, riches and honor.
A Joyful and Peaceful Path of Life: Proverbs 3:17 ERV Wisdom will lead you to a life of joy and peace.
Everlasting Life: Proverbs 3:18 ERV Wisdom is like a life-giving tree to those who hold on to her; she is a blessing to those who keep her close.
Security and Stability in Life: Proverbs 3:23 ERV As you go through life, you will always be safe and never fall.
Strength and Courage: Proverbs 3:25-26 AMPC 25 Be not afraid of sudden terror and panic, nor of the stormy blast or the storm and ruin of the wicked when it comes [for you will be guiltless], 26 For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].
So, wisdom not only provides us with blessings for following it, but it also delivers us from evil. Therefore, we must trust in God’s wisdom and follow Him in all things. His wisdom is for our benefit.
Prayer for the Journey
Father, thank You for making Your ways known to me. Thank You for lighting the path that I am to take. Your wisdom guides me in the way of truth and I can always trust that you are guiding me in the right direction. My trust in Your guidance gives me the confidence and strength to do everything you have called me to do.
