When I first started Deeper with Danielle, God gave me a theme for all I would teach. He clearly showed me how developing a deeper relationship with Christ is the source of winning in life. Since Deeper with Danielle’s formation, I have taught the scripture but also found myself at times leaving out the key principle of our position in Christ that causes our victory in life. At the beginning of this year, God reminded me of His words when I first started Deeper with Danielle and instructed me to ensure every message (blog or vlog) has within its core – CHRIST.

Romans 1:16-17 NLT reads - For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

In this scripture, the Good News about Christ is the POWER OF GOD that saves everyone who believes in it. The Good News is the fact that Jesus came to this earth, died for your sins, and was resurrected to be seated at the right hand of the Father so that those who believe in what He did could live a new life IN HIM. This Good News is God’s power working in you.

The next series of blogs and vlogs will teach on the blessings found being in Christ. When we clearly see all that we have in Christ, nothing will seem impossible. Having this understanding is the key to you finishing the race God has given you to run. This year is about fulfilling God’s will for your life by having a true understanding of your position in Christ. I am excited to take this journey with you and hope you will, at times, write to me about how the blogs and vlogs are making a difference in your life.

Prayer for the Journey

Father a successful life is centered in Christ. There is no success, no joy, and no hope without you. This year I want to grow spiritually and mentally. I pray that you will open my mind to receive wisdom, knowledge, and revelation of your Word so that I can do all you have called me to do.

In Jesus Name, Amen!

I don’t know about you, but I am excited that it’s Spring Break!! This time can be used to bond and spend quality time with your children since they are out of school. If you are traveling this week, I pray for God’s protection to be upon you all.

As you embark upon these fun adventures, remember, there is still work to be done. In Mark 2, Jesus was at a WEDDING when He was asked to complete His first miracle. Weddings are fun celebrations where people come to experience the union of two individuals joining together as one. I’m quite sure you will be enjoying some fun celebrations this week as well. Remain open and available for God to use your life to express His love to another person. Our life belongs to God and humility is allowing God to use us whenever and however He chooses to. We shouldn’t limit God from using our lives when we are on vacation.

Prayer for the Journey

Thank you, Lord, for my family! I pray that during this time of refreshing and fun, you will use me to get Your work done. Lord, use my hands to heal the sick and use my mouth to speak life into your people. I will not limit you to working only during certain times of my life. I give you the freedom to always have your way. Bless our time with family and may you be glorified in the love we have for one another.

In Jesus name, Amen!

Life would be great if someone went to work for us and gave us the paycheck from their labor. With that free time, we could truly rest and enjoy the benefits of the labor of someone else. Well, that is exactly what Jesus did for us. He went to work on our behalf by taking the punishment for our sin. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we can enjoy the fruits of His labor and rest in His finished work. When we accept Christ, we become free from the penalty of sin. This is very important to understand because sin allowed the curse to be in operation in our lives. The curse is an empowerment to fail. In Deuteronomy 28:19-68 God goes into great detail about the curse the children of Israel would experience for disobeying Him. Without a proper understanding of the scriptures, I at one time thought I too would experience the curse for disobedience. Often, I didn’t believe my endeavors in life would be successful because I disobeyed God throughout the journey. The Lord has great plans for you this year and I don’t want you to think you will fall under a curse when you miss the mark. God is merciful and through grace provides help and empowerment to live a life of obedience so that we can reach our destination. However, we must remember, He is not awaiting to harshly punish us or curse us when we don’t get it right.

Colossians 2:13-15 NLT 13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed[d] the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

God disarmed the powers of darkness by nailing your sin to the cross and pouring out His wrath and punishment on the body of Jesus so that you can forever live in the blessing. The curse has no authority in your life. You are empowered to succeed in all God has called for you to do. The record of your wrong was canceled and God is not holding it against you. This includes your past wrong, your present wrong, and your future wrong. You are free from the curse and you will succeed! Yes, trials may be experienced on this journey, but remember in the end you always win!

Galatians 3:13 NLT But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

Prayer for the Journey

Thank you, God, for your Son Jesus who took the curse for me so that I can live in the blessing. I believe because of Jesus, when you look at me, you are forever satisfied. There is no sin too great that the blood of Jesus didn't already take away. Thank you for loving me! I know that I am empowered for success because I am forever blessed!

It’ time for you to use your passions, talents, and gifts to make a difference in the world. You were born in this time to help forge God’s plans on the earth. Your are equipped for His work. He calls you victorious! When you truly discover who you are in Christ, you discover the wondrous gifts that were prepared and purposed for your life.
